We are an Australian rental company providing electrical and furniture rentals to the home and business markets. Each Oze Rentals franchise is a 'hands-on' business where the franchisee is directly involved in the day-to-day operations.
The initial start-up commenced in Hobart and has proved a very successful low-cost operation. The Hobart franchise currently has more prospective clients than they can supply to, which is a nice problem to have. Franchising has since expanded to the mainland and is active in Victoria, with plans to expand to other states in the immediate future.
The distinct difference between Oze Rentals and other market competitors is that an Oze Rentals franchise does not require either warehouse or showroom facilities, thereby eliminating a substantial overhead and keeping franchise startup costs to a minimum level that is highly competitive with the rest of the rental franchise market.
Instead of having a warehouse, Oze Rentals uses a system dubbed Choose, Call & Rent™, where the client chooses a product from a retail location or their choice, the client then calls Oze Rentals who purchases the product on their behalf, and then Oze Rentals rents the product to the client. This system allows our clients almost unlimited choice for their rentals, unlike with many rental companies that carry a specific and restricted product range.
