Are any of your products ex-rentals?

No, all products are provided brand new. We do not supply secondhand or refurbished goods.

Are there any up front fees or charges to pay?

No, there are no up front fees, deposits or charges, nor any advance rental payments.

When I call you, who will I deal with?

You will deal personally with the franchise owner of your local Oze Rentals outlet. This is great because our franchise owners are directly invested in their clients, and go out of their way to make sure they provide the best customer service possible.

Are there any credit checks?

Yes - quick and easy credit checks are performed as part of our 100 point identification process.

What if my credit cards or loans are 'maxed out'?

We understand that many households cannot afford to buy outright and are not in a position to borrow to purchase. However, we can still provide you with rentals even if your credit cards and/or loans are 'maxed out', as long as you earn a reasonable income or receive Centrelink benefits.

How do I make rental payments?

Our current payment methods include bank Periodical Payment Authorities (PPA) or Centrepay deductions.

How difficult is it to apply?

We use an easy to understand application form. The application process usually takes about half an hour.

Are there any maintenance costs?

Provided there has been no misuse or intentional damage, we service and maintain all goods absolutely FREE.

What happens at the end of the rental period?

After your rental contract is up, you can choose to purchase your goods for just $1.00 per item, after which you will receive a bonus one year extra warranty on those goods (some conditions apply).

Is the contract 'Rent to Buy?'

No, it is a hire contract. Clients do not receive any ownership of rental goods, partial or otherwise, for the duration of the hire contract. Nevertheless, we do allow our clients full ownership of their rental goods when their hire contract is complete, at no further cost.

Who can apply for rentals?

We encourage all members of the general public to apply, including Centrelink recipients, veteran affairs and businesses including Not-for-Profit organisations.

Are organisations eligible to apply?

Yes. If you operate a business with a positive cash-flow, supporting regular operational expenses that are normally tax deductible, then you can apply. We also encourage Not-for-Profit organisations, representatives of the Health & Medical sector, as well as community, sporting and church groups to apply.

If I own my own business, are the rental payments tax deductible?

Yes, in most cases, but it is highly recommended you consult your accountant or tax advisor first to make sure.

Do I need to be over 18 years of age?

Yes, you must be over 18 years of age in order to rent from us.

How long is the rental contract for?

All our rental contracts have a usual term of 36 months.

Yes, all your personal details we collect are protected and kept private in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Are there any delivery costs?

Delivery of your rental goods is provided FREE to a distance of up to 40 kms from your local outlet. Further than that, a small charge may apply.
